A State-Federal Partnership Program

>> Coastal Training Program

The Reserve's Coastal Training Program helps build the capacity of coastal
decision-makers within the Narragansett Bay watershed in making informed
decisions as how to best preserve and protect the natural resources of the
Bay and its watershed.  Target decision-maker audiences include municipal
staff and volunteers, designers and developers, landscape architects,
engineers, attorneys, and nonprofit organizations such as watershed
councils and land trusts.  Coastal Training Program workshops focus on
such topics as conservation development, stormwater and low-impact design, riparian buffer restoration, and others.  The Coastal Training Program is staffed by a coordinator and a seasonal intern.
