| Estuary Ed Shed |
| During the summer months on Prudence Island the Reserve's "Estuary Ed Shed" is open for visitors. It is located on the south end of the island at the T-Wharf. The Ed Shed is staffed by our seasonal naturalist, Cheryl Tavares. Cheryl is a knowledgable island resident and maintains aquaria stocked with animals found in our local estuary, Narragansett Bay. She commonly has crabs, lobster, seastars and fish like tautog, cunner, and striper on display. |

| Getting to Prudence Island |
| While some get to the island by private boat, most people get to Prudence on the Prudence Island Ferry that leaves from Bristol daily (weather permitting). A round-trip fair is about $6.20 per person. Bikes can also be brought aboard for a nominal fee. Vehicles cost more and require a reservation, especially during the summer and holidays. For directions, parking information, and reservations call the Prudence Ferry 401-253-9808 |
